I have been using an Onda V711 Tablet for a couple weeks now and have been working on fine tuning it to work properly.
I wanted to post a few modifications that I have done in order to get all of the bugs worked out.
1) Keyboard shows ALL english words as misspelled. -- Fix is to replace LatinIME.apk and add Latin imeDictionarypack.apk with an english version.

Now I want to make an andriod dictionary. Can anybody tell me where to start and how can i develop dictionary for andriod. Thanks in advance.
I am an English speaker who is trying to improve my Spanish comprehension, so I want to be able to download spanish language books to my ereader, and when I come across a word I don't know, I'd like to be able to touch it, and have the translation appear.
Hello Ubutu users, I am a medical student and I have gotten my hands on a medical terms dictionary file ( MTH-MedSpelChek.dic ) and I would like to know if there is a way to add that dictionary to the American English dictionary that Ubuntu 64bit uses. It would be nice if it worked both in open office and in my web browsers (I use firefox and chromium).

I am new to the forum and did a little research on it first before asking this question. I've seen some questions of a similar nature but not one of the same unless I missed it - been searching all morning!
I've purchased a HDC Galaxy S3 phone from China and it does not have the English UK Language on it. It has English US which is no no use to me, It does not have a dictionary either.
I am currently using gnome on Fedora 11 and English is the default language on the system. I was able to figure out how to make it possible to add Spanish characters when I type (like ñ, ó, é, etcetera). I also figured out how to install Spanish dictionaries for the software I use that commonly does spell checking.
In this directory I have English dict and my language file, but where I can download other language? Or maybe you known other free dictionary? I need to make list of word that are not in the dictionary.

I already thought about Text-to-Speech, but it requires an internet connection so it doesn't work for my Dictionary App.
