Is there any way I can search, modify, freeze values of a running app? In other words, a program like Tseach but for android. My phone is the Galaxy SII Skyrocket if it matters. Thanks.

I am developing an application for Android. This app should communicate with a BT device (sending some bytes). I have a problem with debugging/running this app on my device (Samsung Galaxy mini). When I create a BT socket and stop debugging, phone freeze and I have to restart it by getting out the battery.
I'm trying to modify a set of values under the /proc/sys directory, but I know that each change that I made will be reset after reboot.
I want to make definitive changes to these values, so that the values will be permanently changed, even after a reboot.
Which file do I have to modify in order to achieve that?

1. Does anyone know where I can find a list of hex file markers E.g. each segament in a JPEG file starts with 0xFF followed by a byte indicating the type of marker. So 0FFD8 is the beginning of a JPEG image.
