Modifying the .bashrc

http://www.unix.com – I have modified the .bashrc. The problem is that when I write a long command, it does not write on the next line but continues to write on the same line. Code: # ~/.bashrc: executed by bash(1) for non-login shells. # see /usr/share/doc/bash/examples/startup-files (in the package bash-doc) # for examples # If not running interactively, don't do anything case $- in     *i*) ;;       *) return;; esac # don't put duplicate lines or lines starting with space in the history. # See bash(1) for more options HISTCONTROL=ignoreboth # append to the histo (HowTos)
