Dear Infinity Ward, I thought I would write you a letter as I am midway through your excellent computer video game “Modern Warfare 2″.

Call of Duty ELITE is a premium service for players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Activision launched a mobile app for ELITE members on iOS and Android, and it has been installed over 2 million times.

If you watch one paranoid fever dream video of a missle-blown New York set to a Muzak version of “We Are The World,” make it this one.

To those of you who are fans of the Call of Duty series on the PS3, have you tried the combination of Modern Combat 3, a PS3 controller and SixAxis? If not, you should.

You can use the PS3 controller to control lots of games ranging from emulators to FPS.

The biggest entertainment event ever!   Call of Duty: Black Ops smashes the 5 day sales record for anything that has come before it.  Racking up US$650 million in sales surpasses the previous king, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 by over US$100 million.

In a follow-up to last year's Modern Warfare 2, Treyarch aims to impress with its most ambitious project yet, Call of Duty: Black Ops. The game features a solid storyline, fantastic gameplay, many unique elements, and a ton of content... even a bonus game or two! Did Treyarch deliver on all the hype that led up to Black Ops' launch?

Call of Duty is undoubtedly one of the biggest franchises in video game history, and publisher Activision is not going to let the sales success of the brand die off quickly if they can help it.  More details on Call of Duty Black Ops II and its near future combat focus have now emerged.

Halo: Reach has continued the blockbuster run of the Xbox 360 exclusive franchise, busting revenue records for 2010 entertainment releases along the way.  Halo: Reach has a long way to go to knock Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 off its perch, but for a single platform release, you wouldn’t sneeze at US$200 million.
