mobile networks not able to register...please help

http://androidforums.com – hi! all i have a chinese tablet with android 2.2 Model number: wondermedia WM8650 the problem is that when i insert sim card its showing mobile network signals but when trying to make/receive phone calls its nt doing so. when i m manually trying to search for mobile network it shows the mobile network....again when i try to register on that network it shows message " unable to register network at this time" . i have tried 2-3 SIM cards from differents mobile company...please HELP wat to do..:confused: emsi me: anirudhtandon@hotmail.com (General)

I have recently root my Samsung Galaxy S I9000 from GB (2.3) to ICS CM9(4.0.3) The installation got successful.

I'm having some issues with my HOX dropping the network - It's running Renovate 3.0 (was running 1.0 till this morning) - I updated it hoping it could make a difference.

Phone is on T Mobile UK

this means it can use 2 networks: T-Mobile or Orange-TMobile.

It won't pick up the nework automatically when manually selected - even if the network signal is strong it sometimes says:

I just flashed in my Samsung Galaxy 2 GT-i5800 a rom: kyrillios 10.6

It is working fine with Vodafone, but when I put a sim card from other Operator (Orange or Movistar) and I select the network I just get a "Can't connect to this network at the momment.

key issue: overseas mobile network carrier VS verizon...

I have tried at least 4 or 5 versions of ICS, still don't know how to get mobile data working, the newest version I tried was "(Rom)(Leak) 7.01.605.01 Verizon Vivow Ics Sense 3.6 *8.21.12" , just like AOKP and MIUI, everything else works fine (wifi, camera, video etc) except mobile data.

I can not answer to that question because the system requires me to have 10 credits, very nice....

This error is based mostly on mobile devices, mostly on iPhones and mostly on mobile networks.

In about a week, I will be getting a new mobile phone, which will take my current phone, an HTC Evo 4G (Sprint), off the mobile network. I plan to repurpose the Evo as a mobile hand held entertainment device for my children.

Another noob question;

The N4 connects to my home network just fine.

But, how does the phone determine which network (wifi or mobile) it uses when moving data? I looked for somewhere to set the order of priority (use wifi first, then mobile) but couldn't find it.

I assume that the N4 uses wifi first, if available, then the mobile network if wifi isn't available.

First i unlocked my phone, it did unlock my mini partially i was able to get connected to SOME networks not ALL(excluding the one i use). Later then i flashed cm 10.1 rom.
