Telstra will launch, next Sunday June 26, a range of Foxtel content to users of its T-Box connected to Telstra's cable broadband services, with the same offering to be available over Telstra ADSL a couple of months later, all quota free.

Telstra's T-Box IPTV set-top box will receive a fresh injection of content next week, with the telco revealing today that significant amounts of content from its Foxtel pay TV joint venture would be available on the T-Box from 27 June.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has given the go-ahead for the acquisition of satellite TV provider AUSTAR by cable network FOXTEL paving the way for half Telstra owned provider to assume a dominant position in the pay TV space. The ACCC gave its blessing for the merger to proceed after accepting court-enforceable undertakings from FOXTEL.
Netcomm has entered into a supply agreement with Foxtel for Foxtel’s subcsribers to “be among the first to benefit” from NetComm’s 200Mbps Powerline Adapters. These let consumers connect their Foxtel iQ boxes to their network for video on demand services, without installing additional cables, thanks to Netcomm’s 200Mbps powerline technology.
