Hoping you might have some insight to help me out. I have an EVO 4G that I have been running since the original release on my Sprint contract.
I have someone using Straight Talk (the first person I have talked to using this provider) that keeps trying to send me picture messages however I can't view them.
I bought my Evo4G LTE about two weeks ago and immediately rooted it. I have S-off with lazy panda and am running CM10 JB rom. Throughout the first week everything was running just fine. I could send and receive picture messages and MMS using both 3G and wifi. However over the past few days this has all changed.

Occasionally I cannot send or receive MMS messages. If someone sends me a text message with a picture attached, sometimes the picture doesn't show, but there is a download button (which doesn't work). Sometimes I cannot send text messages with images either. The message will just say "sending", but never change to "sent at...". Has anyone else experienced this?

me and my friend both bought samsung galaxy s2 at the same time.
only i upgraded it to ics and he decided to sitck to the original gingerbread.
i'm currently running ics 4.0.3.
the thing is, the same person send us identical picture messages (mms).
in my friends' gingerbread it arrives ok and he just automatically sees the picture.

My phone refuses to receive or send picture messages. I can get video messages, just no picture messages. It has a Download button and refuses to download. I tried clearing all data from Handcent and default Text Messaging through the application area, and that didn't work either. I've read that a factory reset would fix it, but I'd rather not do that as I have a buttload of apps installed.

So when someone sends me a picture + a message in one text, I click on the picture but it actually opens up the whole bubble which includes the message too.
So if someone sends me a picture of a kitty and says "my cute little kitty", when I click on the picture of the kitty, it actually opens up the whole bubble which includes the text + the picture. And I really don't like that.
