Minitube not playing any video

http://chakra-project.org – More problems, so, i would prefer Minitube than using web browser. If I could give only one example of a program on Linux that does things right, it would be Minitube. Minitube is a YouTube client for Linux which not only allows you to watch YouTube videos Flash free, but it also supports viewing the HD videos on your desktop as well.

@Inkane. Thanks for responding. The name of the video  is art Tatum plays Dvorak.  However I can play this video and other videos but onlu if I go to " video " on the minitube menu and select  " open you tube page " then it will play.

Since the standard installed video-lens in 12.04 also covers youtube, the youtube-lens seems obsolete. However, the programme that connects the youtube lens with minitube (scope-youtube) doesn't seem to connect the videos lens and minitube. Is there any way to have those videos not opened in my browser but in Minitube?

Since old minitube-versions seem to be broken and the official tar.gz does not work (at least for me) -  here's the link to the debian forum, where user "stevepusser" linked his selfcomliped package: http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=58237. When i try to open a video on minitube is gives the following error:Phonon error: "A required codec is missing. You need to install the following codec(s) to play this content: H.264"How do i solve this?Thanks,Tuna

My minitube program suddenly stopped playing, frozen sound and video. Any suggestions why this happened. I am using U 11.10. I un-install and re-installed minitube, but still the same.

Minitube it’s an application to watch youtube movie without using Flash or your browser, i’ve talked about it in a former article.

But from some time there were problems and the app was not able anymore to load properly the youtube video (this was with version 1.4.3 from around 1 month ago).

Flavio released on 5 of august a new release, the 1.5 that fixed this problem

I don't know I think I can do IT, in the worst case scenario I'll use just razor-qt and update as chakra goes!!!
