Lately on midnight rom It's been going on "roaming mode." Does it actually work? Or is it just telling me I have no service? I believe I have the stock radio flashed. I'm confused if it actually works..
On my sprint TU I used to have a roaming menu, where I could choose roaming options (sprint only, automatic) and the roaming guard (when it was stock). I loaded Shevron rom 5.3.0 and started getting the exclamation-point-in-a-triangle notification saying i lost data connectivity because i'm roaming.
Got a buddies stock GS3 from VZW, never rooted. About a week ago it showed "roaming" and is still stuck in roaming mode. He can call out and data works fine. He just took the OTA update that was released today or yesterday. Still stuck in roaming.
Hello, I did buy a Sony Xperia Z1.
Wanted to root this phone and ended up with a phone with none working "National Roaming"
Installed this build C6903_14.1.G.1.534_NUT.ftf and rooted it, everything worked fine exept Data roaming.
"International Roaming" Works fine. Even setting up service providers manually will work.
Tried factory reset phone and installed other builds.
It seems that all ICS based roms has "data roaming" error bug.
I tried several ICS roms, And when data roaming is disable I STILL get the "data roaming" error every few minutes.
Can someone implement a fix for this ?
(I installed something called "Secure Settings" which allows me to disable data roaming, but I prefer not to use 3rd party for this basic feature.
I flashed CM 10.1 and got some errors about network connectivity, so decided to just go back to my backup of a rooted stock image. Afterwards i still see that i dont have network connectivity, and i am now roaming. I Saw some guides saying to flash back to a stock image. But can i do that with an OTA JB version already?
I just have a quick question about roaming on the htc one V (virgin mobile, primo C). If you enable roaming then does it cost extra? Does it charge you extra if you enable it? And also, what does "roaming" mean? What are the benefits. I have a poor understanding of this concept so please be patient with me. Thanks!
