Responding to reports that Google no longer supports Windows for internal use, a Microsoft blogger has posted a defense of Windows security, complete with swipes at its rivals.

Since June 2012, Microsoft Windows 7 32 and 64 bit in all of its versions experienced several 0 day vulnerabilities which were quickly fixed with a combination of Microsoft Fix-It and Microsoft security updates including one out of band update today.
Summary: Windows does not reveal the full extent of its vulnerabilities, but Microsoft acknowledges that the number of holes (some very severe) increases to an all-time high
A COUPLE of days ago we wrote about Microsoft planning to break the record of most patches in a single day, which just comes to show that security gets worse — not better — at Microsoft.
