There is a great app called tv portal that streams tons of movieS and tv shows on the n7. Someone writing a review of it claimed they used a micro USB to hdmi to stream to hd tv. Is this possible?
Hey guys interested in the new nexus 7. I hear it has an hdmi port so will I be able to stream stuff to my tv. Say I'm watching tv portal will I be able to plug an hdmi in and stream to my tv or laptop?
Well this just sucks. Was going to spend my $50 and $25 credit on the Hub and Google Play on 5 movies and then use a micro usb to HDMI to watch on my tv. Then thought I better find out if that's doable. NO, it's not :( But I'm BUYING these movies, not renting them. Doesn't matter, still can't do it according to Samsung TS.
Today I bought a MHL Micro USB to HDMI adapter from fry's electronics.
Here is the link: FRYS.com*|*Micro Connectors
On the package it says its compatible with epic 4g touch.
Very simple instructions on the back that I followed. Says to plug HDMI into adapter first. Then it says to plug in your power source to the adapter which is micro USB.
Just wanted to know if anyone has been streaming from their android phones to a projector. I recently picked up a micro usb (male) to hdmi mhl cable (male) (with additional port to connect micro usb power cord). Problem is that the projector does not recognize the phone.
I have been using Serviio to watch Twitch streams through my PS3 but Twitch updated something so it's no longer working.
I found tons of tutorials on how to stream media like pictures, movies and music from your PC to your PS3, but that is not what I want. I want to feed my PC's monitor to my PS3 so I can show it on my TV.
- 7.7" to 9"
- Good screen for watching movies
- Powerful processor (quad core, if possible)
- Micro sd card slot (or 32gb of internal memory)
- It would be nice to have a micro hdmi port (or some sort of adapter)
I´ve been thinking a lot about the Kindle HD 8.9 but I´m not sure how limited it is when it comes to installing aps (my must have apps are MX
