Today I bought a MHL Micro USB to HDMI adapter from fry's electronics.
Here is the link: FRYS.com*|*Micro Connectors
On the package it says its compatible with epic 4g touch.
Very simple instructions on the back that I followed. Says to plug HDMI into adapter first. Then it says to plug in your power source to the adapter which is micro USB.
Just wanted to know if anyone has been streaming from their android phones to a projector. I recently picked up a micro usb (male) to hdmi mhl cable (male) (with additional port to connect micro usb power cord). Problem is that the projector does not recognize the phone.
- 7.7" to 9"
- Good screen for watching movies
- Powerful processor (quad core, if possible)
- Micro sd card slot (or 32gb of internal memory)
- It would be nice to have a micro hdmi port (or some sort of adapter)
I´ve been thinking a lot about the Kindle HD 8.9 but I´m not sure how limited it is when it comes to installing aps (my must have apps are MX
Tried streaming from the Xfinity app on my new Fire HD 8.9 via hdmi, and the app has the ability to shut off streaming and will not permit output to an external hdmi device. So, can only stream xfinity content on the Fire itselft and can't connect to my TV. These other streaming apps have worked just fine via hdmi to my tv - Netflix, HBO Go, Amazon Movies.
Hey guys I bought the atrix 4g lap dock a few months ago and I tried the lap dock as a monitor trick with the micro HDMI to HDMI and the HDMI port got bent! I tried pushing it in with no luck. Now the HDMI port is sticking out and it doesn't work. I've tried motorola but they said it would cost 150 to fix. I got it for free.
I just upgraded to the Galaxy S4 and was thinking about what to do with my old HTC Evo. I was wondering if there is any simple way to control my old Evo (over WiFi) with my S4, so I could stream Netflix from my Evo through my TV (with the micro hdmi cable).
Basically using my Evo to push Netflix to my TV, controlled by my S4.
