I think I aborted it during install. Now when I go into Revolutionary - RECOVERY I get the red triangle. I've tried to go over my steps again,but when I try to download Revolutionary, the Beta Key screen does not have an option for my hboot. The phone works fine with the official Gingerbread RUU, but I'd like to fix my Revolutionary recovery. Or would it be simpler to install another recovery option? (General)

My brother gave me a rooted HTC Desire. When I pop up the bootloader it says this:

I am under the impression that certain ROMs only work with certain HBoot versions (and typically bootloop when they don't work).

Hi everyone. I was trying to return my HTC Desire to the original ROM and the install failed. Now all I can see is this: (the HTC logo in the centre of the screen with an exclamation mark in a triangle at each corner).

Holding the volume and power button does not load the bootloader.

I want to flash a shipped RUU (RUU_Buzz_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2_22_405_1_Radio_13_55_55_ 24H_3_35_20_10_release_160191_signed.exe) downloaded from shippedroms.com. My question is that will I lose root and s-off.

Q Desire S Hboot and Radio 37 weeks 15 hours ago

Hello! I want to upgrade to the new hboot and radio. CUrrently got the 6.98.0000 S-OFF by Revolutionary and want to put the reengineered 2.00.0002 - 7.00.0002. Im wondering which radio should I use in case of not getting it bricked and if someone can give me links for the new radio and hboot I will be thankfull.

P.S. I want to flash them via fastboot flash [hboot] [recovery]

Hi guys,

I had stock 2.3 rom on my HTC Desire and I wanted to downgrade to stock 2.2. In order to do that I had to S-OFF my device and change the HBOOT version. I followed the instructions by alpharev.nl, but something went wrong.

Currently I can't get into recovery mode in order to install any ROM.

I have a black screen for HBOOT, Recovery, and booting.

I know I am in HBOOT because I can volume button to reboot and it works I know I am in Recovery because I can press and feel vibration on 4EXT I know I am booting because within 1 minute I can use my phone with full functionality and with screen working fine

Any thoughts on what is causing this?

Hi all could do with a little (maybe a lot) advise I have a htc desire running 2.3.3 and am trying to root fone just to move all apps to sd card i have followed the revolutionary method and i have s-off and have installed revolutionary CWM v4.0.1.4 and have got up to the stage where it says IV. Gain Root Access.

I've got a really pesky problem when attempting to run ICS on my XE. I S-OFF'ed using revolutionary's method, installed 4ext recovery and rooted my stock Gingerbread release. So far so good...
