http://androidforums.com – Hello. I have owned my wildfire since may this year. The problem has been happening since September when i realized the texts weren't sending. Texts would send every time to certain people, but a couple of people would only receive 8/10 of texts. The little envelope beside the message says its pending but even when left for a whole week it never goes away or changes. All numbers are stored as 078... or the correct numbers. Ive tried resetting the message app cache and data, Resetting the APN settings and Resetting the phone. The recipitent is using a new blackberry on 3 (Uk) aswell (General)

After noticing that I had waaaay too many texts in my inbox today, I went through and deleted most of the threads hoping to clear up some space. I received a message from one of those people I was deleting messages from while the texts were erasing.

Been having trouble with my HTC Incredible S recently. Texts rarely send, and I rarely receive texts, unless I turn off all data, and constantly reboot my phone and/or send texts to myself to kick starts texts into sending and receiving. I'd buy a new phone, but am waiting for the Nexus 4 to come back into stock.

I can receive texts, make and receive calls and send and receive MMS texts. I have contacted T-Mobile support but am having problems getting it fixed through them because I have AOKP on my phone and they don't understand it. I am using Google Voice to send texts but I don't really like it and want to use the Android messaging app. When I check the SMSC number it shows "+12063130004",1

I am considering buying the google nexus 7 (without data).

Is it possible to send and receive texts using my tablet via my mobile (nokia N8-00) without using data?

I basically want to connect my tablet to my nokia N8-00 such that i can send and receive texts using my tablet through my mobile, without using data, so i am basically using my sms allowance on my mobile's sim.

Some of my friends say they aren't receiving my texts and those that make this claim all have one thing in common... they don't have smartphones. Some only receive garbled text, nonsensical partial sentences or letters that don't spell anything, I have noticed the ones who get these garbled texts all have cheap little flip-phones, or trac phones.

Hi! My Thunderbolt does not receive large SMS in either the Handcent App, (I had to download Handcent because the stock texting app on my T-bolt would send my texts to whomever it wanted to and not my intended recipient), or the stock app. It only accepts texts with about 160 characters or less and doesn't split larger texts into 2+ messages.

I was mid conversation in texts and my phone started failing to send texts. But can still get on the internet. So i tried making a phone call and it won't connect. Had someone try calling me and it goes to voicemail. Had then send me a text and i got it, just can't reply back. Anyone hear of this before?

I flashed this device to verizon and it worked fine until i ran a program called wifi kill. Idk what the program did but it reverted all of my flash information back to sprint. So i had the flash redone again and now Im having issues.

I can make calls and send texts but i cannot receive the calls. The calling phone gets the ringing tone but the HTC does not ring at all.

I dropped my phone and the screen cracked but you can still turn on the phone and call people and receive texts. I got my replacement phone about a week later and i was wondering if there is any way to move my texts over to my new phone or just look at them someway. Can anyone help?
