Git, a free and open source distributed version control system designed to handle everything from small to very large projects with speed and efficiency, is now at version 22.214.171.124. Git 126.96.36.199 may seem like a maintenance update, but in fact it's a little more than that. It features a huge number of fixes, as it can be easily observed from the announcement.
I'm trying to install mercurial (the DVCS) but unfortunately http://mercurial.selenic.com is down. Does anybody know of any mirrors I could grab the source from, allowing me to install it. Hopefully the site doesn't stay down long, but doing some searching on twitter it appears it's already been down for a few days.
