I am looking for an open source for android Maps API that can work off-line and can work as a navigation system offline, I am working on an off-line navigation system project by android for a specified town.
I heard that osmdroid is highly recommended for offline apps but I don't now about the navigation feature.
Google Maps crashes on me when I use Google Navigation now. Maps is also acting funny even when not navigating. My phone is stock with basic apps and I have never had any issues like this with Android.
Please post up if your Google Navigation and Maps work as they did with ICS.
If nobody is having problems I am going to have Verizon replace my phone.
Can't get navigation on my g2x to work at all. I can get a gps lock fine in google maps indoors and out but navigation just stays locked on the searching for gps prompt, even when it clearly shows it getting my location fine.
On the Google Lat Long Blog, Google Maps Software Engineer Larry Powelson announced the addition of new mobile biking directions and navigation to the Google Maps for Android app. Ten countries have received new biking directions including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.
I'm using TapaTalk 4 (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ord.tapatalkHD) and all forums except Android Central have notification options, even the most obscure forum accounts have some notification options.
For example for XDA I have turned off notifications on subscribed forums but get everything else like subscribed topics, private messages etc.
