Hello
Not sure if this is in the correct forum. But here is what I am trying to do. I am trying to send ebooks from my calibre library to my android device wirelessly. This is what I tried , I created a folder share on my PC called kindle and then mounted that share using CIFS to the kindle folder on my android.
deeply attracted by a book from barne&noble site, and the price is somehow less expensive than other stores, so how to zchieve this? let me be your guider.
"nook works fine with its official site pulished books, but this is not equal to the kindle readers.
Need some advice.
I currently have a Nook Color, rooted to CM7 on sdcard. I don't use it much other than to read because it is too slow.
My requirements:
Cost - $299 or less
Apps: Andriod Market or Amazon (must have apps: Kindle, B&N, Moon+Reader, Adilko)
Storage: ability to sideload my epub books so I can read them with Moon+reader; 8MB at least
Processor: 1GB??
I am enjoying the SGP5! Audiobooks are GREAT with MORT Player and I am starting to use Moon+ Pro reader. I will load up my 32GB mSD card with lots of books.
I thought that perhaps the best way is to just organize them into Genres/Author folders on my removable mSD card under "ebooks". Then open the file with whatever player (Kindle for mobi, Moon+ for epub). Is this a good idea?
Can anyone point me to a recipe for how to upload a book to my android device? I'm formatting my own stuff with html and then converting it with Calibre.
I'm using Calibre 0.8.61. The Kindle app version is 3.6.0.87. I don't know what file format to use (epub doesn't seem to work) or where to put the file (/sdcard/kindle doesn't seem to work).
Thanks
Hi. Does anyone know how to sideload ebook you already have in Epub or Pdf format to your Nook App on your Android phone?
I have managed to do it for the Kindle App but unfortunately nothing shows up in Nook app.
Hi everyone.
I just bought a Google Nexus 7 and am requesting help with viewing e-books.
I've installed the Kindle for Android reader onto the Nexus.
I've also created a couple of test e-books, using Sigil. The test e-books are in EPUB format, but I also used Calibre to convert them into MOBI format.
My goal is to view these e-books on my tablet.
Hello. I am using a Samsung Galaxy tab2 with the pre-installed Kindle app. After I convert the book from epub to mobi and send to device, where does it go? It isn't showing up in the Kindle library when I launch the app. However, when I look at the Kindle folder on the tablet (via my pc) it shows the book with "epub". Any help is appreciated, thank you.
