Make External SD recognized as Internal SD?

http://androidforums.com – I have a Droid X2 and a nice 16 gig SD which I used and which worked great on my last phone (the first Droid). However, the Droid X2 only recognizes it's stupid 4 gig internal "sd" or media area and it won't move any apps or pictures or music or anything to my external sd because the internal memory is named "sd" and the external is named "sd-ext", which is not something any app developer knows to route it's programs to. So my sd card is useless and I can't put ANYTHING on my phone and it is constantly out of memory. I was wondering if there is a way to switch t (General)

Ok I really can't figure this out and my theory is that the droid maxx has it backwards and uses "internal storage" to mean external storage and "move to phone" as internal storage. Can anyone please explain this to me?? I have ApptoSD and, as an example, one of my apps MUST be kept on internal storage.

I have a Sony Xperia J phone..May be you are aware that since the Internal Memory of the phone is portioned, one will be recognized as phone memory and the other as SD card...

I would like to move some pictures from "My Gallery", onto the external SD card I just put into my Droid Razr phone. What is mounting the card and how can I move the pics from "My Gallery" to the card? This is all new to me so be slow with your answer. :)

And how can I make sure with every pic taken with the camera they will file themselves on the external card?

I used this ROM and followed the instructions posted. I had issue partitioning the card with CWM.

Hey guys, I was wondering if there is a way to switch my 32gb sd card with my internal memory so I can install more apps. Hi! Is there any way to do a full wipe of the internal memory? I can't format it via CWM, because there is no option in "Mounts n' Storage" to format the internal sd, only the external one..

I have a "rooted" micromax A44, an mtk based phone loaded with gb. Yes, It hs very low internal memory (a mere 170mb dedicated for user apps nd its data). There are no roms nor a recovery available. So im at my wits end. I tried these to overcome the problem.

1. changed internal apps (system) into user ones using Titanium Backup and moved them to sd card.
