In Fedora 12 RC3, There is major graphics problems in Nexuiz 2.5.2. The floor ,weapons and characters disappears. I think it is mesa or Xorg problem. Openarena is working fine.
While the Mesa software stack has made some steps towards supporting OpenGL 3.x, this free software library used by open-source graphics drivers is still a ways from supporting this industry graphics API thats years old and has already been surpassed by OpenGL 4.x. There hasn't been too much major progress lately on GL3 support, but some think it could be achieved next year.
I have the latest Nexuiz 252 and whenever I set the resolution to 1920x1200 the game exits and this is the error message I get.
VID_Restart: changing from fullscreen 1024x768x32bpp, to fullscreen 1920x1200x32bpp.
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 129 (XFree86-VidModeExtension)
Thank you, esdaniel! Interesting. However, those are different symtoms (no graphics errors but apparently some fatal error when a desktop environment is loaded). The similar thing is that reverting the mesa package helps.
Hi,i'm new to #! I came from ubuntu which was just boring after a while as everything was set up and actually way too full of bullshit ;) So I decided to give Crunchbang a go and i really like the style.
I have recently installed a 3d visualization software named VAPOR in Ubuntu-14.04 LTS. My graphics details are Intel sandybridge hd graphics. But during running this vapor there is always a error like -
Message: GL Vendor String is MESA.
Graphics drivers may need to be reinstalled
Though I have Mesa and for Ubuntu there is default graphics driver Radeon.
