I recently switched from Gnome to KDE. After some setup i tried setting the menubar style to top screen menubar. This all works fine for my qt applications, but it seems it does not work for my gtk applications.
on my konsole i am missing the menubar at the top of the utility. it =used= to be there before, but nothing i do gets it back. in order to change trivial stuff, i have to use the mouse in the middle of the screen.
just now, when i fired off firefox, i see no top menubar. if i did have this--or similar--problems before, i've forgotten how to fix thhem. can anybody help me here?
I am trying to use the menubar applet, which is supposed to put the menubar of applications in the panel. It does not however. All it shows is the File menu with one single entry "close". Does anyone know what has caused this?
Is there any way to prevent the menu items in the global menu bar from hiding until mouseover? I really like the idea of the menubar, but it really gets me that the items disappear. Is there a way to make them permanently visible, like with the OS X menubar?
I've installed aur/kdeplasma-applets-menubar and placed the menubar widget in a panel.I've also set Application Appearance > Style > Fine Tuning > Menubar Style to "Only export".In my Qt applications, I see the application menus displayed in the widget, but when I press something like alt+f, the file menu doesn't get activated.Any ideas?
I just installed Lubuntu 13.10, replacing Lubuntu 13.04. I have my /home directory on a separate partition, so all my files and settings etc. are right where they are. This also meant I now have Evince 3.10. On Lubuntu 13.04, I think I had Evince 3.8 (not sure), but it had a menubar and a toolbar.
