I would like to use my Sony Ericsson Xperia SO-03C phone running Android 2.3.4 for debugging my app. I have connected it to my Macbook Air via the USB port, and it seems Eclipse fails to recognize it (although I can charge the device).
I have already enabled "USB debugging" on the phone. I have also tried "adb devices" and it does not show my phone.
Hi there,
I have a macbook pro running os x 10.6.8 and when I try to connect my phone via the USB (the one my phone came with) it will not recognize my phone. The USB connection type screen keeps coming up over and over and over, as though the USB connection keeps starting over and over again. The connection will not last long enough for Android file transfer to recognize my phone.
I'm running Win XP SP3 and every time I plug the USB cable into my computer, XP displays that the USB is an unrecognized device. Therefore I can not put any files on my phone. Is this a common issue? Am I missing crucial drivers?
I have also tried using HTC Sync Manager but it still will not recognize my phone.
so I'm developing for Android and am trying to run some applications on my phone instead of with the emulator. I'm running Windows XP (woot) and have the Motorola Droid RAZR M. When I connect my phone to the computer it first of all kills my internet connection so that the computer cannot see any available networks.
Hi, I cannot get ODIN or QPST to recognize my phone.
I have DK's CM10 RC0 Nightly ROM, installed the drivers many times (and uninstalled many times) - both Kies and regular drivers.
I want to root a Kyocera Rise (C5155). The problem is that I cannot get any windows computer (XP, 7 or 8) to recognize the phone, with or without the proper drivers. I have tried 3 different windows machines, including a brand new Acer laptop. I have tried rebooting the computers and the phone, using different cables, trying different USB Ports even factory resetting the phone.
I use ivendor's cm9 (RC1 currently) with working USB tethering, But there is a little bug. Steps to reproduce:
1. Connect phone to laptop with USB cable.
2. Check USB tethering checkbox in settings (it's inactive without cable)
Now usb0 interfaces appear on phone and my linux laptop and I have an internet via phone on computer.
3.
OS: Windows 8 x64
Phone: Verizon DINC2 rooted with CM9
I rooted and flashed my phone on Windows 7 with no issues. Windows 8 will not recognize my phone.
I am operating Ubuntu 12.04 on an Acer Aspire One. I love ubuntu. To me, it is a God send especially out here in West Africa. My dealing with Ubuntu 12.04, it has the ability to recognize any hardware device that is attached to it. Recently, my parent came for a visit, I took both of their Samsung Android cellphones and plug them into my netbook to retrieve some photos from it.
