Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you to the best lyrics finder tool I have ever used, osd-lyrics. Just imagine, while you are listening songs and facebooking or whatever you usually do, an application is fetching and displaying lyrics "in sync" with the song being played.
Amarok 2 added a lyrics panel. Current version: Amarok 2.2 (kubuntu karmic).
I have never been able to get any lyrics to display. Once in awhile, the lyrics panel displays "*/", but that's all I get. I tried very popular songs (e.g. More Than A Feeling - Boston) and even looked it up on lyricwiki and verified that it was there.
I have an Alcatel 916 running gingerbread and when I play an mp3 in the default music player half the screen is filled with a grey box containing the words "please add lyrics file." Most of my mp3's are continuous mixes over an hour long and I would love to be able to paste the playlist into the space which reads "please add lyrics file".

There is a checkbox for Lyrics in the settings for the Music Player, on my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone. So, how do I view the lyrics for a song that is playing?

If you are looking for nice application that displays the lyrics as the song plays and if you love to sing along then there is a really nice application that can turn your system into a karaoke machine. OSD lyrics displays lyrics of any song that you play through your music player. It automatically downloads the required lyrics from different sources.
TuneUp, the iTunes plug-in that improves your music library by fixing mislabeled songs, adding missing cover art, and the like, is introducing a fun new feature today — the ability to view the lyrics of whatever song you’re playing.
It’s not like you couldn’t find the lyrics on your own, but this should be pretty convenient, especially if you’re already using TuneUp.
