KXStudio 12.04.1 is available. KXStudio is an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution with a collection of applications, artwork and plugins targeted at audio and video production.
I'm trying to test beatlslash-lv2 on KXStudio, but the beatslash-lv2 don't appears on Carla Host...I tried to find new plugins, but Carla don't disponibilize to use beatslash-lv2. It was installed via KXStudio plugins repository.
Is anyone achieving significant audio latency gains or xrun stability using a RT kernel with Kxstudio or similar Ubuntu studio distro's?
If so, which kernel / where /do I gotta roll my own?

Thanks for the quick replies! Got it all figured out now. Installed Renoise.I got the KXStudio repos working but I think I'm going to hold off on messing with it yet. I've only ever really used Ubuntu so I kind of want to branch off and try something different. Out of all the distro's I looked at #! appealed to me the most.

use my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface. Sound comes out, and the
sound quality is good, but it gets a lot of interrupts. This is
