Chris Wilson of Intel's Open-Source Technology Center released the xf86-video-intel 2.99.904 driver today to wrap up all the bug-fixes that landed in the past week and to say there's one more feature planned to be completed for the 3.0 release.
Intel's Chris Wilson has done a Saturday morning release of the xf86-video-intel 2.21.10 driver to get out more performance tweaks and regression fixes. This xf86-video-intel 2.21.0 release also takes care of X-Video support for Haswell (though using VA-API is still the best video playback choice for Intel) and various other bugs. Intel X.Org Driver package 3.0 Pre-Release 5, an open source 2D graphics driver for the X Window System implemented by X.org, has been launched and is available for testing. Chris Wilson has released yet another version of xf86-video-intel drivers, bringing the package closer to a historic 3.0 version. According to the developers, this will most likely be the last development update.
