http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello. when using Thunderbird - if i Use the word 'attached' / 'attachment' in an email, thunderbird will give me a big warning when I try & send the email (if i have not actually attached anything). Is there a way in thunderbird to create our own warnings ? Basically, I sometimes type a word/phrase into an email, & it is marked as a spelling error (I'm not sure - but i think they are). but thunderbird still sends the email - with little/no warning of my error. (Hardware)

I want move towards using my own mail server, so I picked Dovecot. I plan on using thunderbird to retrieve my mail using IMAPS. I have never used either of the software, so my questions are a bit naive.

I don't understand the process of deleting email from dovecot from thunderbird.
