http://ubuntuforums.org – I'm completely new to Linux. I installed Lubuntu 11.10 on an old Toshiba laptop which worked fine but the sound doesn't work. Working through the trouble shooting I tried to install the latest LinuxAlsaDriverModules through Synaptic Package Manager. Now, whenever I start the Synaptic Package Manager I get the following error message: E: Type 'n' is not known on line 3 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu-audio-dev-ppa-oneiric.list E: The list of sources could not be read. Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem. E: _cache->open() failed, please report. Any help (Hardware)
