i'm experiencing a strange problem with dual monitors. when i set the dual monitor via "nvidia settings" and save the setting to xorg.conf, the default unity theme and icons are turning back to gtk default.

currently, I have a lubuntu laptop with nvidia driver installed.
I'm trying to extend my display, but (after a couple of reboots) all I can see on the other display is a big X whenever I move my cursor to that display.

I am having a AOC 1619 sw touchscreen monitor which is connected to an Ubuntu 12.04 machine. I have installed the TouchKit drivers but still the touch screen is not working.
