My lenovo laptop running lubuntu can't connect to wireless.
Hello
I have a question regarding wireless internet usage by Lubuntu. I have Lubuntu 13.04 32bit installed in my Samsung NF-NP310 netbook. I'm not sure about its wireless card model, but this is the problem:
When I start using lubuntu with my wireless network, it seems to screw up the connection to my other devices.
Hi, I am trying to configure this laptop for a friend using a lightweight distro, so it runs everything smoothly. Problem is, there;s no wireless Linux drivers for this pc, so I've beren trying to get a Windows wireless driver running using ndiswrapper. I've never done this before, so I'd appreciate some help with this if possible, or if there's an easier solution?
im having a lot of trouble getting wireless connectivity on this netbook of mine (Dell inspiron 1122). I have been googling around for hours but to no result
The wireless adapter is an Atheros AR8152 Wireless N mini card
if anyone could shed some light that would be great.
Thanks
Hi. I just did a fresh install of Lubuntu 12.04 on a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop. Install went fine (what a great installer!).
Now I'm all logged in, but when I click the network manager icon at the bottom right, "Wireless Networks" is greyed out. I've installed *buntu on dozens of computers and never had a problem with hardware detection, so I'm not sure where to begin.

I have Ubuntu 11.10 installed today and trying to connect to wireless but its not working. It has been working correctly on my Windows 7. i am pretty new to Ubuntu. I tried suggestions listed in this forum but nothing seems to be working for wireless.
I recently installed Lubuntu 12.04 on my old low end computer with no wireless. I had bought a Netgear WNA1000M USB Wireless adapter to get wireless as it has no wireless card and its location is far away from my routher. After 10 minutes however the wireless will disconnect and won't reconnect until i restart my computer. Is there a fix for this?
I just upgraded to 8.10 so i could upgrade to 9.04 but my wireless connection isn't working when i was on 8.04 ubuntu found the wireless automatically but now i cant figure out how to get it working at all. My wireless card I have came with the laptop, it is a Intel wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN .
My laptop is a dell XPS m1530.
Thanks in advance
