I've been having quite a bit of problems with my laptop battery lately. For some reason when it's not plugged in, my computer will automatically shut off without warning with around 50 - 60% charge still left, according to Windows.
Scenario: Overnight Charging
ROM: Stock
- Battery charges to 100% 4.2V, Charging stops, battery starts draining, to 4.1V then charging starts again to top up the charge. this happens repeatedly overnight. I believe this is ideal.
ROM: Custom ICS or JB
- Battery charges to 100% 4.2V. Charging stops but battery just continously drain.

When my phone is plugged into the wall there is no charging light or anything. No white light in any senario. Last night my default battery was at about 9% so I pulled it and used my 2nd battery. No problem.
Misunderstanding 3: The battery requires periodic calibration, the total charge and discharge once a month.
I have a bluetooth mouse connected to my laptop.
Much to my delight (I posted the suggestion!) the mouses battery is now displayed along side the laptop's battery.

I have bought a second-hand Xperia X10 with MIUI installed. It's my first smartphone and I am fumbling my way towards familiarity (I hope).

Hello
I installed AOKP 4.2.2 JB ROM (build 6) on an HTC One XL (evita)
ever since then, the battery is draining big time, overnight (when not on charge), im losing around 40-50% of the battery.
I have disabled most of the synching (although this was never an issue with a stock sense (4+) + jellybean 4.1 ROM, and its not really made any difference
I have installed better battery stats, but ne
First, here's the constants: I keep wifi/BT/GPS on 100% of the time. This was true when battery life was good, and now that battery life is bad. Disabling these will improve battery life, but will not fix my problem.
When the phone is sleeping overnight, I used to get 8-12% battery usage over about 8 hours.
