Hi,
I am having some weird display flickering when using window controls like maximizing/minimizing,scrolling down... I have tried changing refresh rate and screen resolution but that didnt help. I thought it was a Unity issue, but I get the same thing with Gnome. I have downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers for my video card.
System Specs:
Ubuntu 12.04, i7-3930K, 64 GB RAM, GTX 690
Any ideas?
I have a ZFS pool with 4 drives. It also has a 3gb ZIL and a 20GB L2ARC that are each partitions on an SDD that doubles as my Linux Mint (ver. 13) boot drive. The pool is mounted to /data.
The problem I am running into is that when I restart the server the pool/directory is completely wiped despite having data in it prior.
So I realize this is a super noob question, hence the reason Im posting here, and id also like to say that I checked all over the forum and google to try to find a solution with no success.
So my issue is with my pointer.
Sometimes when I alt-tab between applications, the application will just be a white screen. This has happened with terminal and with firefox. I can fix the problem and get the program to render by maximizing or minimizing it.
Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi, I got an Xperia X10 which buttons (I mean volume and bottom buttons) stop working after a little while and then I restart the phone and they work again. I was in 2.3.6 and I flash it to 2.1 update 1 via octopus box but problem persists. Any Ideas? Thanx in advance
Hi All
I am running Ubuntu 12.04LTS x64 on a Sony Vaio 17" Laptop. I am loving it, but have one problem that is frustrating me, which I was hoping you could help with
I like a tiny dock, and I updated Ubuntu, restarted and now can't resize my dock beyond huge! By default it is now huge.

What would cause this?
Is there anyway to get the data back?

Ok...Long story!
I installed Ubuntu to find that it doesnt support my ATI Mob.Radeon 3460 too well.
I tried on the internet and found a guy who solved his problem well :
