I've just installed Lubuntu 12.10 on an old laptop (IBM ThinkPad 600X). However, after booting Lubuntu, everything looks like in negative (eg. colors are inverted, like there's some assistive technology enabled).
During installation (using alternative installer), colors were OK. Before installing Lubuntu, I had windows installed, it was showing colors OK as well.

I have the following problem: the installation of Lubuntu 12.10 stops in the second step. What is? The second step is where it says you are connected to the Internet, the disk space you have and present the options to selected third-party downloads and/or restricted.

Hi there I am experiencing a very strange problem with my Ethernet connection. Lubuntu isn't connecting to the Internet. The computer is showing up connected on the router configuration page. Lubuntu also detects that it is connected to my network but when I try accessing anything online it doesn't work.

hi all, i'm new to the whole Ubuntu/ Lubuntu OS.
I have an old dell laptop so i decided to install ubuntu on it. I then ran in to graphics card problems and it would boot to the desktop sometimes but overall didn't work well. So i decided to go for Libuntu.
I'm a new Lubuntu. I'm not sure if this is normal... Any comments to assist would be greatly appreciated.

So I just got an invite for the steam beta. I switched to Lubuntu about a month ago and I have made it my default version. I ended up reinstalling the thing from scratch and now I don't have any other GUI on my linux installation. So I was wondering how do I install the ati drivers on Lubuntu.
