Looking for replacement gallery not found so far

http://androidforums.com – I am looking for a replacement gallery for Razr Maxx. I am looking for one that will scan and read a deeper file structure. For example:/mnt/sdcard-ext/pics other than camera/animals/birds/dove. Not sure if I am explanning well enough. Have tried a few off market. The last one is Quickpic. It does a pretty good job but will not go down file structure to birds sub file. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am open to free aps or fee aps in market. Thanks Phil (General)

Hi.

I guess my question is can my HTC One S have 4.2 camera and gallery without Rooting?

I don't like my gallery or camera app on 4.1.1. I have now. They don't seem fluid with Sense 4.1 on top as well.

It would be great if i could do this without root; does anyone know of a way?.

I've tried Quickpic and some other gallery apps but none are measuring up.

I have pics that I would like to keep hidden in my phone so the kids or someone I'm letting look through my phone don't see them. I tried using QuickPic and created a new folder "Private" and put them in there then hid the folder.

it sees new pics taken but nothing else. old photos are visible in other apps, file explorers etc see these fine. they open manually in the gallery if i choose to open one via file explorer.

Right off the bat, let me tell you that this game is a lot like Angry Birds, but there are some differences that make it very fun to play, not to mention it has a 4.5 rating in the Google Play Store. In this game each level consists of a structure with a few Zombies.

ICS camera & gallery? 43 weeks 6 days ago

So maybe someone less noobish can clarify for me. In most of the ICS ROMs I've tried including the official TELUS one, the camera and gallery look identical to the ones in Gingerbread. In CM9 I see the camera and gallery that look like ICS to me.

There is even an app in the Play Store called Gallery ICS which looks like it.

So am I missing something here?

It's driving me nuts. I am using vignette as my camera app (good app).

Can someone please tell me the difference between /mnt/sdcard/external_sd/dcim/camera and /sdcard/external_sd/dcim/camera

Those are the 2 locations it's saving to. No rhyme or reason to it either. It irritates me because there are 2 folders in my gallery too.

I'd like to know if it's possible to install the old gallery app from sgs2 (GT-I9100) on a GT-I9300. I've seen ports of the new gallery on s2 so I'm guessing it should work the other way too.

I really dislike how the new gallery ignores folder structure, otherwise no complaints.

Good afternoon everyone. Total noob. First post.

About a week ago I found a thread that suggested a different ROM build for some problems I'm having, but I can't find that thread now.

My phone app will freeze the screen and I have to reboot. The phone is working when this happens, as in the call is completed. This is random.
