Looking for NVIDIA GF 9600 GT graphics adapter driver on windows7

http://serverfault.com – I have a desktop with Asus P5KPS/EPU motherboard and Nvidia GF 9600 GT Graphic Adapter. I just set up new windows 7. My problem is that I cannot find a good dirver for my Graphic Adapter. I've downloaded driver from Nvidia.com which say support my GF 9600 GT, but when I installed it, it said This graphics drivers could not find compatible graphics hardware. I go into safe mode, uninstall Standard Graphics Adapter that auto installed then install my Nvidia driver, still not work. Anyone can show me how to solve this problem? (HowTos)

I have an ASUS g51vx which has a NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 260M CUDA 1gb graphics card. I have installed ubuntu 9.10 32bit using VMware player running from windows vista 64 bit.

i have lenovo z570 , nearly i found that my laptop has two Graphic Card (intel + nvidia) !!!!! when i want to install nvidia driver , i've got an error witch is said " the graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware " what should do to fix it !? my laptop realy doesn't have that hardware ?

I'm using Ubuntu 12.10.

So I got an Nvidia GTX670M graphics card, and If I install the driver, or, it do not work, or I loose my screen resolution, or I loose part of my desktop, so actually I run without Nvidia driver, and, in System setting > device > graphics, I get this :

My question is, how do I install Intel Graphics or Nvidia driver ?

I'v bought a new graphic card and installed it on my pc. Now - ubuntu won't load, all I get is a command line terminal at the end. I've tried to type startx and got this error:

Hello! I am trying to play runescape in HD.I got a GeForce 9600M GT video card. I uninstalled the xorg-x11 driver-video-nouveau driver wich was installed by default then added Nvidia in the repositories and installed what i got from Nvidia repository. But i still get Runescape was unable to enter that display mode when i try to run RS in HD mode.
