The best part of waking up, is $20M in your tip cup.
I drink a lot of coffee, if you can’t tell. I love coffee so much that I make it a point to hit all of the best spots in every city that I visit. One of my favorite joints in San Francisco is Blue Bottle Coffee.
It looks like there’s been another bug in today’s launch of iOS 6. We’ve been getting multiple tips stating iOS 6 is causing a bug in users’ WiFi several hours after it’s installed.
I have tried 4 or 5 bluetooth headsets for GrooveIP / Skype / Vonage voice calls over wifi and I get horrible sounds that I could only describe as what you would expect if the call was connected through loosely connected high voltage line. It isn't just a minor background sound. It is extremely loud and this "sparky" sound overwhelms any other sound.
It seems like all my phones are having problems this month.
Anyways, Sensation XE got updated to ICS in India a few days ago and i downloaded the update after which this WiFi and other wireless issues started.
My phones WiFi shows disconnected when i turn it on and when i turn it ON it says connecting and then gets OFF on its own.
My office network blocks things like Pandora, Spotify, etc., so while most of the time I'd like to be connected to my office wifi, there are times when I'd rather use my data connection. Unfortunately, I can disconnect from the network until I'm blue in the face, and it just keeps reconnecting. Is there a setting somewhere that I can check that will allow me to control when it connects to wifi?
I built a long-range WiFi antenna to tap into the multitude of Free WiFi hot-spots around my home.
By "Free" I mean our public libraries and other local business establishments that freely allow the use of their WiFi.
It works like gang busters with hot-spots several miles away as long as my line of sight isn't blocked.
I have a small business, and I don't feel very secure with network. I have a router, and I share the same network for my home and office.
Hi,
I've lived with this problem for a long time:
Today I enabled wifi, connected, and XDA app took ages to load and said failed to connect to forum, but after turning on airplane mode then enable wifi it works perfectly!
So, is it a problem in the kernel or radio? I'm using f3 aosp gingerbread with its kernel. Your reply is appreciated! :)

We love talking with start-ups but sometimes we don’t have time to sit down with everyone. That’s why we started TC Office Hours. It’s a chance to meet a few TC editors and pitch your business, ask questions or advice, or just stand in awe of our majestic presence. We’ll be visiting SXSWi this week and we want to talk to you – with a few caveats.
