I have a raspberry pi, and am getting this error message when trying to install the .deb version of log me in:
"package architecture (armel) does not match system (armhf)".
I have lsb 4.1 installed.
My particular concern is about installing "coq" in Ubuntu 12.04 for Toshiba AC100 (armhf distro), which hasn't been built successfully for armhf, but is available for armel -- https://answers.launchpad.net/ac100/+question/218291.
So, can one install an armel Ubuntu package on armhf Ubuntu system, and will it work?
Does debian have some sort of automated package update process?
Im using it on a set of fanless PCs and noted that one had become v slow recently. On inspection the network LED showed lots of activity. Eventually the system became non-responsive and required a cold start.
