So ever since i upgraded to kitkat 4.4.2, there is a fade effect on my homescreen, when i open an app or play a game it goes away, but when i go back to my homescreen the fade effect comes back, i have an lg optimus l9 ii, does anyone know how to disable it or turn the effect off ?
Is there a way to disable the screen fade which happens when a gui application asks for the users password (i.e. when gksudo is used i believe). For example, when starting synaptic most of the time. I find it annoying, and it doesn't fade cleanly on my system, so i'd prefer just not to have it. But my google-fu is weak.
On both Firekat and Skyfall roms, every time i swipe to open lockscreen, it plays the lockscreen animation and then briefly shows the lockscreen before opening, kinda like a stutter...don't really know how else to describe it. Currently set my unlock effect to abstract tiles, and it works fine. The only unlock effect that glitches is "popping colors." Anyone else have this problem?
I was curious to see if anyone might know a way i could get the HTC One-X Animated Weather lockscreen onto my Samsung S3,
I love having that lockscreen on my One X but my S3 doesnt have capability to even have a live/animated wallpaper for a lockscreen besides the water effect, Which i would rather have the animated weather one from the One-X.
Can anyone help with this project?
