I am currently working on a java search project that will be distributed to the clients' local server, the project contains some valuable data that we hope it cannot be accessed directly on the machine, but can only be accessed from the project services/apis.
The remote server is running CentOS 5.5.
I have created an rsa key from my client server, and copied it into /home/hadoop/.ssh/authorized_keys. This worked fine - I can ssh to hadoop@remoteserver without being prompted for a password.
I also have a data user on remote server that I want to ssh into.
Here's a basic layout of what I have:
Remote server in Chicago is mail server, backup server and public facing
FTP server due to higher bandwidth.
I want the remote server to VPN back to a local server so that on the
local network it is addressable on the internal network (say it has an
address of 10.8.0.6) and then nightly a script will go and rsync data from
local server to the remote.
This worked on my prime which appeared to have a partial root after upgrading with the OTA update, i was able to restore full root by running a few commands.

For the experinced users its just a case of running a few commands
adb push su /data/local/tmp/
adb push Superuser.apk /data/local/tmp/
adb push busybox /data/local/tmp/
adb shell
I have a server with MS Access installed, and Via Remote Data Connection, the response time is excellent. The database is 1.3 gb, and the queries use a series of ODBC links to acquire data throughout the network.
However, when I map the drive to a networked drive on the local PCs, response time is horrendous.
How do I create a local backup of a remote Amazon RDS MySQL database? What I need to know is how to make a complete full local backup of a MySQL database (not a remote Amazon snapshot) that can be used to restore to a new database anywhere, on any MySQL server (same version of course).
NOTE: I know how to import data from a flat file via MySQL.
I have a folder on my German Remote drive. Folder path is Z:\Prime_Office\test_anurag and IP of the remote system is 178.15.19.194. I want to synchronize the data in the folder test_anurag to my local server(India). My local file server is on Ubuntu. I have Admin access also.
I have a server on linux that run php and mysql;
I have a tool on that server;
I want when data on that server update, the data must syn to another client which has no public ip,
Server has puplic ip and local machine has no puplic ip
