I am studying digital signal processing course and i want to make Fir low pass filter in matlab by using my owns filter's coefficients(not built in matlab commands).

I have determined the filter order from N=4/Normalizes of the transition width, which is 144.

where Fs(sampling frequency) is 7200Hz, fp (pass-band edge frequency) is 500Hz and fs(stop-band edge frequency) is 700

can you please help me with my analogue project
i was asked to design an operational amplifier band pass filter using " Crocodile Technology :

* Input signal , voltage 100mVp-p , Frequency varying between 100Hz and 7000Hz

*Voltage gain of 10

*Input resistance of 100 KΩ

*Filter should band pass between 300Hz and 3100Hz at 3dB

· 1dB gain at pass band frequency of 10kHz
· -20dB gain at stopband frequency of 2kHz
· maximally flat response in pass band

am using multisim software and I want the right resistor and capacitor values.

i am trying to make a 2nd order sallen key band pass filter from 0.05hz to 500hz .. when i am trying to simulate it my high pass is working fine and blocking the frequency at 0.05hz but my high pass filter isn't blocking at 500hz . sample goes for my notch filter i am created a 50hz notch filter in bode plot there is perfect 50 block but when i am giving the 50hz its not blocking .

My inverting-active-RC band pass filter is made up of a first order low pass filter and a first order high pass filter, which combined makes a second order band pass filter, with the following transfer function:

H(jω) = R2C1jω / (R2C2jω+1)(R1C1jω+1)

Replacing jω with s:

H(s) = s/(ω0+s) * ω0/(ω0+s) = ω0s / (ω0+s)^2

So for a class project we have to design a circuit that when a specific frequency is inputted into the circuit a specific LED comes on. Our input signal is a 1 V AC signal which we have to amplify to 5 V with an op-amp, which we have done.

For our electronics project, we are building a 3 band second order op amp.

We were told that we should use 741 op amps for this project as it shouldn't make enough problems for the equalizer.

Analysis:
U1 is the low pass filter with an db breakdown of -6 db at 500hz (Sallen-Key op amp configuration)

I have a question on low pass filter.

I am working on VOX board (please see the picture below), and experiencing noise from Microphone.
Voice frequency is from 20-20000 Hz. So I want to add a capacitor C10, to cut off frequency above 20000Hz.
What value of capacitor should I take?

I'm trying to build an ultrasonic frequency counter with an electret microphone. I'll use a 4024 counter to divide the input frequency by 32 and feed it into a microcontroller.
I am unsure as to how to design the mic amplification to get the required amplitude to feed into the 4042. I need to circuit to operate at 5v.
