Today is the last day of LinuxCon and CloudOpen 2012. Don't miss any of the action! We'll be live blogging the morning keynotes starting at 9:15 a.m. Pacific with a panel discussion on IaaS vs. PaaS.  At 9:45 a.m.

 The past 24 hours have flown by so quickly here at LinuxCon and CloudOpen in San Diego. We had some serious laughs as the Linux kernel developer panel took the stage Wednesday afternoon, sailed to Qualcomm Innovation Center's fun party at the Bali Hai Restaurant and saw more great speakers Thursday morning from Qualcomm, Facebook and Twitter.  Intel, Canonical and Kernel Panel Keynotes The Wednes

LinuxCon 2012 was off to a great start in San Diego Tuesday with a full day of Linux training and the Linux Kernel Summit.

Follow our live coverage of the LinuxCon and CloudOpen keynotes on Thursday afternoon, starting at 4:30 p.m. Pacific. Michael Miller of SUSE will start with a keynote on service oriented clouds.  4:50 p.m. is Tim Burke of Red Hat on "Enterprise Linux Success Factors." And at 5:10 p.m.

The action begins Thursday morning at 9:15 a.m. with a keynote from Rob Chandhok of Qualcomm. He'll talk about "Mobility, Proximity and Compute Meshes." 9:35 is Amir Michael from Facebook to talk about Open Compute. The LinuxCon and CloudOpen 2012 conference held in San Diego last week were an epic success. Three days of keynotes and technical sessions from leaders in Linux, open source technologies and cloud computing sparked new conversations online in the days during and after the event.

As you all already know, the LinuxCon Europe 2012 event opened its gates to the Linux public on Monday, November 5. Below we've posted pictures from the first day of the event, courtesy of The Linux Foundation.

The event started with keynotes from Canonical's Mark Shuttleworth, Red Hat's Brian Stevens, Evernote's Dave Engbergand LWN.net's editor, Jon Corbet.

Amid all the talks, workshops and training sessions now under way at LinuxCon, attendees hoping to get an up-close look at some of the latest open source technologies were not disappointed.
