As I reported in the Linux Mint LXDE community edition forum, I am working on porting Linux Mint Helena LXDE, which was released recently, to the PowerPC architecture. I was very impressed by the speed of LXDE on my old PowerBook G3 Pismo 400 MHz running Debian Lenny.
