http://www.linuxforums.org – Hello all. I'm relativly new to Linux, and don't know a whole buch about it, but in the other aspects of computers I'm pretty knowlegable. When my laptop hardrive crashed a few months ago I decided to try a version of Linux insted of XP again. While I was running Ubuntu 9.4, my system worked fine, but then I updated to 9.10 and my computer began to randomly freeze. I could still control the mouse but all other activity was dead. So then I tried Fedora, and the same problem occured, then I switched to SuSE, and who would have thought it, my computer still freezes randomly. Right now I'm running SuSE in failsafe mode, and my comp is fine, so I don't think its a hardware problem. What to you guys think? I'd be grateful for any advice, thanks! Riley PS. I have a Toshiba Satellite A15-S129 laptop with a gig of ram and an intel celeron proccesor. (HowTos)
