Hello, I have an hp compaq 6720s laptop dual boot win vista/ ubuntu 12.04 with gnome fallback desktop.
I have installed the default libreoffice of precise, i.e. 3.5.4.2
I am doing a .odt document with writer including text and images .jpg and .bmp downloaded from web, the document is about 9 pages with 12 images.
Hi everyone,
Gnome 3.4 brought us the ability to see recent documents in the desktop search via gnome shell, but at some point in the last few months, Gnome Documents has become the default program for opening libreoffice documents and .pdfs from the shell as well.
I want to remove all the images from a document in libreoffice. I tried on interent but did not get any information on this. my document consists of 350, I can't do, searching and delete one by one.I tried unchecking an option
from
options>libreoffice writer>view>Display> "Graphics and objects". But its of no use.
I'm having a very bizarre problem here. When I start LibreOffice Writer, it doesn't open with a new blank document. The document is called Untitled 1, but its contents are from a previous document - specifically a series of images that I pasted into a previous document.
Hello, please excuse my bad english.I have a problem. Since the libreoffice update from 3.5.6 to 3.6.1.4 libreoffice don't start. For a short time i see the splash-screen and that's it. In the terminal, when i type soffice or lowriter or libreoffice --writer i can't see any message. Also i deleted the ~/.config/libreoffice folder. But that doesn't help.
Thanks a lot thisoldman for taking the time to explore. You've nailed the problem. The issue does lie with 'libreoffice-gnome-3.6.4-3'. Taking the cue from your post I removed 'libreoffice-gnome' and ~/.config/libreoffice. As a consequence I lost my gtk-theme on Libreoffice and instead got an 'ugly' looking LO-writer.

Nightly I run dirvish-expire and cron send me a report saying the images can not be expired
So I ran this to show you what I get

Google claims that inline images in authenticated email are shown automatically in Gmail. Yet I do not observe this with transactional mail I get from serious organizations, such as Stack Exchange and MailChimp: the images are hidden by default and the “Display images below” link appears. Authentication-Results says spf=pass, dkim=pass; DKIM key length is 1024.
Although I set the default printer settings through the "printing" manager to NoTumbleDuplex, the LibreOffice print dialog properties isn't defaulted as NoTumbleDuplex. How can I set the NoTumbleDuplex setting as default on libreoffice?
