LG announced today they are going to expand sales of the LG Optimus G into 50 new markets this month. The new markets will join the United States, Canada, Korea, and Japan, all of which already have access to the device.
LG has announced that its flagship Optimus G handset will be hitting US store shelves in both Sprint and AT&T flavors later this year. This would inevitably make the Optimus G the most powerful smartphone to arrive in America. Both handsets will sport the exact same specs, sans the camera sizes.
We know the LG Optimus G is one hell of a smartphone already— but we are about to see one hell of an enhanced addition to the Optimus G family. Our friends at Engadget recently got their hands on a press image of the Optimus G Pro smartphone which takes everything the original Optimus G has and makes it just a little better.
LG has officially unveiled its latest mid-range device— the Optimus F5 smartphone. Sandwiched in between devices such as the Optimum G (Pro) and the Optimus L9 series, the Optimus F5 arrives with modest features such as a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch IPS display, 2,150mAh battery and Android 4.1.2 running the show.
While much of the world, including the U.S. and European markets, wait for the release of the LG Optimus Vu next month, LG is already moving on to the LG Optimus Vu II for the Korean market. LG indicates the new smartphone device will be released next month. The highlight of the device is the inclusion of an infrared control unit.
