The LG Optimus G Pro, a successor to LG’s flagship Optimus G smartphone, looks to be preparing for a Japanese launch at least, according to a couple of separate leaks this morning.
The rumors that the Sony Xperia Tablet Z would get announced by NTT DoCoMo came true today. The tab was already announced by Sony so no major surprises on the specs: a 10.1-inch 1080p (1920 x 1200) display, a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core APQ8064 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, microSD, an 8.1MP Exmor R camera, 6,000mAh battery, NFC, LTE, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The Optimus 4X HD was yet another device that LG unveiled at Mobile World Congress. After a few months, it decided to visit the U.S. and show off a little. It sports a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, a 4.7-inch True HD IPS display, an 8MP rear camera, 1.3 front-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 2,150mAh battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The LG Optimus L9 cruised through the FCC recently, and it looks like it’s headed to T-Mobile because @evleaks tweeted an image of the said device.
If you thought that LG’s global roll out of the Optimus G meant that its successor, the Optimus G Pro, would stay in hiding a while longer, you were wrong. According to NTT Docomo, one of Japan’s largest mobile carriers, the Optimus G Pro will be available in Japan as part of its spring lineup.

Today LG announced their high-end waterproof handset called the Optimus GJ. The device is just slightly larger than the original Optimus G at 131.9 x 68.9 x 8.5 mm vs. 136.9 x 68.9 x 9.9 mm. It can stay underwater up to 1 meter for as long as 3 minutes.

It’s 9.9mm thick and weighs 170g. We expect to see this bad boy on sale in China this month followed by Japan.
