If you thought that LG’s global roll out of the Optimus G meant that its successor, the Optimus G Pro, would stay in hiding a while longer, you were wrong. According to NTT Docomo, one of Japan’s largest mobile carriers, the Optimus G Pro will be available in Japan as part of its spring lineup.
We know the LG Optimus G is one hell of a smartphone already— but we are about to see one hell of an enhanced addition to the Optimus G family. Another day, another spec leak. Today we’ll be discussing the LG Optimus Vu II leak. You have to wonder about these “leaks” sometimes. After all, it was announced in August that we should see this beast in the wild in September, so the specs are inevitable at this point. Plus there’s that Samsung Galaxy Note II, right around the corner.
While LG already announced its latest flagship last month, it was unclear when exactly the handset would be launching.
Earlier today, AT&T and LG announced the Optimus G Pro smartphone, the next great flagship device to battle for true supremacy. So it’s only fitting that LG showcases its newest toy at its Share The Genius event, where it is giving an opportunity for a handful of folks to test drive the newest device before it arrives in stores next week.
LG’s hottest and newest flagship device in the LG Optimus G will be available on AT&T starting November 2nd with pre-orders starting tomorrow.
In a press release LG Electronics announced the Optimus Vu has passed 500,000 units sold in South Korea, and in the same breath also announced intentions to launch an LTE version of the popular device in the US.
