Looking for some feedback I bought the LG optimus g and ain't very impressed with it. I'm wondering what you guys think should I go back to the s3 or get the note 2 or stick with this quad core LG? ?
It was last month that we heard that the reason for Galaxy Note 10.1 delay was for a nice little hardware bump, replacing its dual-core chip with the faster, more powerful quad-core Exynos 4412.
I want a phone with at least a 4.5" screen.
The Galaxy Note II will cost £530, which I can't afford.
So, as far as I am aware, I have three main options:Samsung Galaxy Note - £370 (16 GB)
SoC Samsung Exynos 4210
CPU 1.4 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9
GPU ARM Mali-400 MP
RAM 1 GB
Screen: 5.3" HD Super AMOLED - 1280x800 (285 ppi)Samsung Galaxy S III - £410 (16 GB)
SoC Samsung E
The Samsung Galaxy Note II will land on all major U.S. carriers in time for the holidays, and if you’re an AT&T customer, they just announced that you can grab yours on November 9. It will be priced at $299 and pre-orders will start on October 25th.
Just saw this on notebookcheck.net and thought "DAMN"
It's a 7" Android 4.0 tablet. It has a Exynos Series 4 Quad Core SoC w/ Mali 400 GPU. The 7" screen is a 1280 x 800 IPS Panel. Camera's are mediocre, but overall this sounds like a good tablet for a little gaming for ~$166 dollars. I need to look for more information.
As everyone knows, the international HTC One X has the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor and to make things work with LTE, they created the HTC One XL that is essentially the same phone, but with the dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4. This is essentially what is available on AT&T, but marketed as the One X, a little confusing I know. Now Samsung did the same thing with their Galaxy S III.
The Nexus 7 should be very "powerful" as promised by Google!
Quad-core 1.3 GHz Tegra 3 processor vs Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9... the Nexus is a Giant in CPU performance, but the UI isn't smoother than Galaxy S2, indeed it seems that the UI hardship to drag from one screen to another, is not at all fluid!
After hearing a bunch of rumors surrounding LG’s upcoming quad-core best, the LG Optimus 4X HD, LG has finally officially announced the device, putting all speculation to rest. We originally reported about the device as the LG X3 but now we know the recent name change will stick.
Many have speculated that the reason we don't have quad core on the us gs3 versions is that the lte didn't play well with it. Yet here we are a few months later, wit the note 2 bouncing in with its quad core. .Were we tricked so that Samsung could exploit buy happy US for two major phones releases in one year.
