LG debuts first dual-core processor smartphone

Hear that? It’s the sound of LG prancing around and giggling in triumph, having launched the world’s first dual-core smartphone ahead of its competitors.

LG is first to launch a dual-core smartphone in Australia, beating Apple’s next iPhone to the dual-core punch, but are dual-cores enough to win LG’s duel, not only with Apple, but its battle with every other smartphone maker on the planet?

The smartphone is power packed with a full HD screen, 1.5 GHz Quad core processor, 2 GB RAM, Android 4.1 OS etc.

The smartphone with 4.5 inch QHD display and 1.2 GHz dual core processor will be priced at just Rs 13,000.

Intex Aqua 5.0 has a dual core processor, 5 inch capacitive display, Android 4.0 ICS, and dual SIM.

We finally got some official news surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2‘s availability, and whether or not it will come equipped with a dual-core or quad-core processor.
