Modders Inc. has the Cooler Master Glacer 240L strapped to the test bench today for a little review action.
Swiftech, one of the industry leaders in water cooling for years recently partnered up with Cooler Master to bring the Glacer 240L all in one liquid CPU cooler to market. This is not the typical all in one liquid cooler.
I am making a peltier cooler to keep my beer cold while watching TV :) The cooler is open, means the drink will be kept on a tray that is open to surrounding and keeps it chilled
My design is simple, just a heatsink+fan assembly from computer, a peltier chip and a 12V adapter. The peltier chip is stuck on the heat sink along with some thermal grease to increase thermal conductivity.
So, I have an ebay coupon that expires Jan 5th and I'm wanting to buy some RAM for an AMD Kaveri build. The chip apparently has graphics as good as a 7750 (amazing for integrated graphics imo), but DDR3 RAM is really going to kill performance. I figure I should get the fastest RAM that is supported.
Case open, on side on top of desk. Litecoin mining for days, temps much below 70. Bought an aftermarket cooler for my 5870 when it came out. Check my mining logs to see if everything is running, find out one machine isn't. Go to it. It's making a hissing noise at me. Unplug. No hiss. Replug the cord to the PSU. Hissing. Unplug. No hissing.
