Hi all ..
I`m facing issue with mouse click , suddenly my mouse left click stop responding , the right click and the pointer works , and the same exactly thing for the touch pad ,every thing works fine expect left click , I tried to change the mouse the same issue happened , It`s suddenly stop responding , I can not click select ...
Just bought an Acer AO756 laptop and I am dual booting Ubuntu 12.04 and Win 7. The only problem that I am having with the laptop is right click. There aren't any right and left click buttons, you click by pressing the touchpad on the right or left corner and the entire touchpad moves.
I can tap to left click and two finger tap to right click but that doesn't work very well.
I am using a USB mouse on an Asus A52F. When I right click on
one of the icons on the top or left on the screen, I get the same
behavior as from a left click. I think the touchpad is the same,
but I rarely use a touchpad so I'm not sure I checked correctly.
Things are a little crazy. This is a laptop I set up for my dad, and
everything was fine using ubuntu 10.something.
Pardon the horrendous title, I'm not exactly sure how to summarize the issue I'm having. Basically, I have synaptics, and I right-click by tapping two fingers on the touchpad because my touchpad doesn't have any buttons.
I recently installed Fedora 13 on my hp 6730b laptop alongside Windows 7 on an extended partition. Everything's working fine but I can't click using the synaptic touchpad. The cursor is moving around fine using the touchpad but to click I need to use the left button.
As soon as I open the file explorer it stops responding for at least 2-3 minutes and suddenly it starts responding. When I plug in some external media some type of thing happens.
When the file explorer stops responding then mozilla firefox and some other things also stops responding. What should I do to fix this?
Im using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
Running Ubuntu 11.10, 32 bit on a vista-era sony vaio.
Besides all of the crappy graphics and web cam issues I had to solve, the laptop worked great. But for the last week, the touchpad either:
1. does not work
2. dies suddenly and doesn't let me move around without a usb mouse.
3 (most common/annoying).
One strange and little annoying issue I notice with my openSUSE 11.3 installation is my Synaptic touchpad behaves way too strange....
Dragging a window or icon - half way around - a click is generated (probably a middle click I guess) and I need to re-drag it again....
In the browser when I try to select a text - again by dragging - a middle click gets generated...
I just installed Ubuntu 12.04 and I noticed that my right ¨touchpad click¨ isn´t working at all. My touchpad is working fine 2 finger scrolling also works but right click doesn´t work. The tochpad worked fine under windows 7. The touchpad has a physical click, but I dont now if it knows the difference between left and right click. Is there some kind of solution for this problem?
