Just a short while ago we reported on AT&T’s announcement that they will start selling the HTC One on April 19th. Sprint is hot their heels as they too have announced the availability of the HTC One on the 19th for the same $199.99 price for a 32GB version with a two-year contract.
During last week’s Unpacked Event, Samsung mentioned just two colors regarding the Galaxy S 4. They were Black Mist and White Frost. One can only assume that it won’t stop there, and it looks like a purple version will hit Sprint by mid-April.
On the heels of the Samsung announcement that the Galaxy Note II will be available on AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, and U.S. Cellular, Sprint just issued their presser, but didn’t specify a release date or pricing.
Well, if you’ve been thirsting for some G-Nex love on Sprint’s network, the wait might be shorter than you think. Thanks to our friends over at Phandroid, they’ve spotted some signage at one of the Sprint store locations for the up and coming Google experience device. Question is, will the device come with LTE?
A major device may soon be destined for Sprint’s network. A leaked RDF file from Sprint’s servers show a device called the Samsung SPH-L900 that features a nice list of specs including: a Exynos 4412 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 8 megapixel camera and Android Jelly Bean running the device.
April 22 looks to be a busy day for Sprint as the LG Viper and Galaxy Nexus should be released, but they are adding another device, the LG Optimus Elite. This one is similar to the Viper in that it’s eco-friendly, but it’s more of a budget phone. Since April 22 is Earth Day, it makes sense releasing it then.
Sprint has launched their version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus before fully rolling out their LTE network. This means that users of the device have to depend on Sprint’s 3G EV-DO network for data when not near a Wi-Fi connection.
A newly leaked internal document suggests Sprint could be prepping another mid-range Samsung smartphone, but this time to debut on its fresh LTE network. Ironically dubbed the Galaxy “Victory” 4G LTE, it sports a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor.
Only a few hours to go! Who's going to pony up $250 for the gs4? I know I am :)
