So I hear that multiple manufacturers will be given the chance to release their own their own versions of the Google nexus. So far I've heard of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2, the Sony Xperia Nexus, and the LG Optimus Nexus. If that's the case, and let's say HTC and Motorola also make a nexus, what would you guys go for? What do you guys be hoping for in specs and pricing?
If you remember, several months ago it was reported that Google would offer several Nexus devices later this year, and we reported that they would announce five such devices on Android’s 5th birthday. Since then the rumormill has been quiet except for this morning’s news on a Galaxy Nexus with some minor spec bumps.
Last night we reported that the LG Optimus G Nexus will launch in November, and now we have some more details. Apparently devices were handed out last week for testing and one source, who is not a Google employee, divulged some information to Android and Me.

It has been a good week for hackers who want to experiment with their Android powered devices. Earlier this week Samsung released source code for several devices, like the Galaxy S III Mini, the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II, and their Galaxy Tab devices.
Its no great secret that Android users are spoilt for choice when it comes to high-end handsets in early-2013 alone, theres the Sony Xperia Z, HTC One, LG Optimus G Pro and, now, the Samsung Galaxy S4 to choose from. But you dont have to shell out £500 to nab a top-notch smartphone, as 2012′s über-capable and eminently affordable Google Nexus 4 proves.
Google is about to throw down. At next week’s NYC Android event, the big G is expected yell “me too!” and reveal a full line of Nexus devices. Watch out, Mr. Consumer. These devices aren’t just for the nerds.

Over the course of the past day, we have seen Google start to rollout an Android update, first to Nexus 10 devices, then to Nexus 4 devices, and most recently to Nexus 7 devices. The OTA update to version 4.2.1 is probably still in the process of propagating to all device owners.
